Docking/Un-docking Movable Windows

The following windows can be “un-docked” from the main interface and can be moved to other screens or “re-docked” within the main interface in different locations:

Document Browser

Work Product Inspector

Thread Visualizer

Who to Whom

Keyword Analysis

Date Histogram

You can un-dock a movable window by either double-clicking the title bar of the window OR by clicking on the title bar and dragging it away from the DWR interface (i.e. pretend you’re ripping it off).

To re-dock a movable window, double-click the title bar again and it will re-dock into the DWR interface. You can also drag a floating window over the DWR interface and a docking guide (pictured below) will appear allowing you to specify where you want the window to be positioned inside the DWR interface. Just drag the window onto the desired directional indicator and let go and the window will dock in that location.

The directional indicators help you re-dock floating windows

Here are some examples of the Document Browser docked in various locations:

The Document Browser docked to the bottom

The Document Browser docked to the right

The Document Browser as a floating window

The Document Browser docked and stacked on top of another movable window.
